Sontronics Podcast Pro Mic Review / Test (with Audio Samples)

Today I review a new entry level budget podcast microphone, the Sontronics Podcast Pro. This mic has a supercardioid polar pattern and a very healthy output for a dynamic at approximately -50dB and does a very good job at background noise rejection. Unfortunately, I find it to have a complete lack of isolation from bumps of the desk or boom arm, and I find the tone of the mic to honky and hollow sounding.
