Beyerdynamic M201 TG Dynamic Hypercardioid Mic Review / Test

Today we’re looking at the Beyerdynamic M 201 TG, a hypercardioid dynamic instrument mic. It’s good for live instrumentation if you’re looking for a warmer, less treble boosted tone. What I think it’s most interesting for is spoken word in the studio because it gives you a warmer tone with a good amount of clarity, however, the biggest obstacle in that use case will be the plosives.
