Today we look at the a brand new microphone from Shure; the KSM8 Dualdyne Dual Diaphragm Handheld Dynamic Vocal Microphone…that’s a mouth full. This thing use 2 diaphragms to assist in reducing proximity effect and improve off axis rejection. It has a much more neutral frequency response compared to the SM58, and provides a smooth and articulate tone with a full low-end without introducing any muddiness.
